Human Rights Campaign Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality

What It Is: This is a list of all the companies and law firms that earned 100% on HRC's Corporate Equality Index (CEI) sorted by industry.

Why It Matters To You: The CEI rates companies and top law firms on detailed criteria falling under five broad categories non-discrimination policies, employment benefits, demonstrated organizational competency and accountability around LGBTQ diversity and inclusion, public commitment to LGBTQ equality, responsible citizenship. Both publicly available and self-reported data is evaluated.

Considerations: Participation in the index is voluntary. Companies and law firms evaluated are gathered through Fortune magazine's 1000 largest publicly traded businesses and American Lawyer magazine's top 200 revenue-grossing law firms. In addition, any private-sector for-profit employer with 500 or more full-time employees can request to participate.

Logo's Top 25 Trailblazing Companies

What It Is: This is a list of the top 25 most LGBTQ-friendly companies in America.

Why It Matters To You: This list honors companies that have served as pioneers and advocates for the LGBTQ community by demonstrating a public commitment to LGBTQ people & issues through their advertising, communications, and other visible actions.

Considerations: Using companies with 100% scores on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index, each company was evaluated based on objective criteria that demonstrate each company’s support of the LGBTQ community in the public sphere. The final list is composed of the 25 companies who earned the highest scores across all criteria.

Vault Best Accounting Firms for Diversity

What It Is: This diversity ranking is based on insider information from verified employees in the accounting industry.

Why It Matters To You: Look at which firms have high rankings for diversity based on the opinions of those who work for them. Easily sortable by type of diversity.

Considerations: Insiders were asked to rate their firm's commitment to diversity with respect to women, minorities, and LGBT individuals. Earlier rankings included categories for individuals with disabilities and military veterans. Overall rankings equally weigh each category. Firms with too few responses were not included in the ranking.

Considerations: Insiders were asked to rate their firm's commitment to diversity with respect to women, minorities, and LGBT individuals. The overall ranking weighs the three categories equally. Firms with too few responses were not included in the ranking.
